Motability Operations is the not-for-profit company that operates the Motability Car Scheme and the Powered Wheelchair and Scooter Scheme. As operators of these schemes, our activities are regulated and overseen by the charity Motability.

Through the Motability Scheme disabled people can obtain a car, powered wheelchair or scooter by using their mobility allowance. Over 550,000 customers trust us with their motoring and mobility needs, with satisfaction levels at 97% and 92% of customers choosing to renew their lease.

The largest fleet operator in the UK and the biggest supplier of used cars to the trade, we have, as shareholders, the major banks: Barclays Bank plc, Lloyds Group plc, HSBC Bank plc and Royal Bank of Scotland plc. We are based in London and in Bristol and employ over 700 people across both sites.
